The Industrial Revolution: Science


Just as the the Industrial Revolution spurred the development of inventions and innovations like the electric light bulb and the airplane the Industrial Revolution saw great strides and new ideas in science. Many scientists who still have a huge influence today are a direct result of the changes wrought by the Industrial Revolution.

The scientists we will examine are:

–Charles Darwin

–Dmitri Mendelev

–John Dalton

–Marie and Pierre Curie

–Albert Einstein
