Explorers Continued: Spanish, English, French and even the Dutch

We will continue to examine the explorers who journeyed into the unknown. Last class we looked at the reasons & factors involved in exploration. We also looked at how the Portuguese were the first nation to begin exploring with the encouragement of Prince Henry the Navigator. Today we will begin with the Spanish and examine the voyages of Columbus and then the other European kingdoms. Finally, you will complete 4 constructive response questions. (Some classes will coincide with Renaissance Day)
