Today we will finish our review and introductory session with an examination of the Roman Republic & Empire, Byzantine Empire, the rise of Islam and the Middle Ages. The Guided notes and powerpoint are found below. As we finish the Medieval period we will examine Gothic architecture and Westminster Abbey. We’ll also see the tribute to Martin Luther King Jr in London with his inclusion as a 20th-century martyr with his statue on Westminster Abbey.
You’ll also have an opportunity to use your talents and complete a Herald shield that represents you and your personality.
